Submit your Engineering Drawings for Review
An important step in classifying a vessel, offshore unit or certification of equipment is the technical review. This involves the review of drawings and documents to ABS Rules, Guides, and other standards by qualified ABS engineers. The most efficient method is by electronically submitting drawings and documents to ABS.
The ABS MyFreedom™ Client Portal allows clients to submit and manage the administration of their drawings with enhanced collaboration with ABS engineers throughout the plan review process. The portal supports 3D design review including submission of large file sizes and a wide range of file types.
ABS clients can manage their submittal items under the Drawing/Files section of the Engineering menu. The application can be used to track the progress of engineering reviews and deliverables, manage findings and generate automatic reports within the various views available in the Engineering module.
Clients can make quotes and new project requests electronically and can include the items intended for review or information. For the billing responsibility details, it is beneficial to specify the company’s Worldwide Client Number (WCN), if known. For clients with an active ABS MyFreedom Client Portal account, this information is located within the My Account view under the username menu at the top-right of the page.
